I am 12 weeks. YAY!!
I thought I would just provide a little update about pregnant life so far...
1. At 7 ish weeks I began to notice a change in my mood when I got hungry. Normally, I get irritable and fatigued when I don't eat but now it's multiplied by TEN. I don't even like myself when I'm hungry. I judge when I need to eat by how negative my thoughts are and how snappy I am with others (Brent). It's not like me and I feel weird. I guess I should eat constantly or something.
2. My appetite has grown. No real cravings. What I have noticed is that what I already love to eat or hate to eat is the same but simply enhanced. For example: I love smoothies and veggies and bread. I hate sugary anything, it doesn't even seem like it's real food when I eat it. (I do like sweet foods but I just can't do the JUNK.)
I almost wish I had cravings. Pickles and Ice cream just sound gross but I feel like cravings are pregnancy right of passage.
3. My tummy has grown but I do not have a "bump". I can feel my lower abdomen shifting around making room for my growing uterus and it's weird. I have been so used to using my core that I've clearly noticed changes just in how my abdomen feels.
4. I have been more tired. I feel like I could just sleep certain days, but others my energy is high and normal. Today is one of those sleepy days.
5. I have had about 5 mornings where I have woken up feeling "gaggy". One morning such as this, I coughed and the dry air in my throat made me gag. Other than that I haven't thrown up once or felt too nauseous... I feel super lucky:)
6. I am more emotional. The littlest things make me feel like I could cry. Don't worry listing to taylor swift 'love story' made me cry. (I don't even like country music... but that song is sweet.)
So far so good. I have been feeling well overall and I am so grateful. It is still so amazing that there is life growing inside of me.

Sophie! Congratulations! I am so excited for you guys! You are going to be a great mommy! It's been forever since I saw you last! How are you doing?
Welcome to pregnancy my dear! At least I can suffer through it with you! Don't worry, cravings might still come. I've wanted apples 24-7! You are very lucky that you haven't been sick, for your sake I hope it lasts. :) Hang in there, you have a long road ahead.
OH CONGRATS SOPH! You will have such a darling lil one! Can't wait. I love all this pregnancy announcing on the blogs. ha.
Cute, Soph!! How fun to be prego! As long as you recognize that you have mood changes, Brent is lucky! The problem would be if you were just crazy and had no idea! HAHA! Congrats again and good luck with everything!! Can't wait 'til your belly grows and you post pictures!!! You will be adorable!
soph! You're such a beautiful mommy-to-be! I'm glad your doing so well!
This makes me so happy and excited! CONGRATS!!! 12 weeks, that means you're almost out of your 1st trimester...how great! So good to hear that you've been feeling pretty good. I've always noticed that the more sick I feel, that's when my emotions go sky high ;) In a few weeks you'll be able to feel the baby move...that's even more strange and crazy when the little things get big! Be SO thankful that you're not too sick and you can still work, I'm sure you have good and bad days, but that's a major blessing in itself! We couldn't be happier for you guys! Keep us posted!
I love hearing about all of this! So fun.
Uh, I know you are only 12 weeks but I am in need of a pregnancy picture, because well...I just can't wait to see how cute you are haha. Pleeeeaaaassseee :)
Oh my gosh, I can't believe I missed that announcement before - congratulations!!!
It is the most amazing thing, I will tell you that. Our little guy is 10 days old and I'm just in amazement of the entire process of pregnancy and childbirth (even though I had a c-section).
I, too, had a very easy pregnancy, so I hope you continue to have the good luck you are having so far with feeling sick. You will be the CUTEST preggo ever, though, with your tiny little frame. I got super chunky faced with all the water weight I was carrying, but 10 days later, I'm within 5 lbs of pre-pregnancy weight, so carrying all that water definitely had it's perks!!!
If you haven't already, you should keep babycenter.org on your list of websites to look at, because there are a lot of great videos and slide shows. I LOVED it. And if you haven't gotten "What to Expect When You're Expecting," make sure you get it. The monthly info is good, but all the stuff in the end about the actual labor and delivery was extremely helpful and good info.
Sorry I have a lot to say, but it's hard not to with the phase I'm in right now!!
Congrats to both of you, and good luck! I hope you continue to feel well and take care of that little kidney bean.
I'm really excited for you guys and the baby. Kid's are crazy additions but fun.
For the ads... I use Google's AdSense. If I remember correctly. You just sign up through the website below. Then you go to your blog layout. One of the gadget options is to add AdSense. They send you a check once you hit $100. It'll probably take awhile. I get an average of $.20 every time someone clicks on the ad. It doesn't happen very often so I'm thinking it'll take four years to hit $100. Haha.
Plus, if you have multiple sites, you can have it all go through the same AdSense account. Adam has a website that we changed to go through my account by signing into my account at the bottom where it has the publisher ID. Let me know if this doesn't make sense.

Next you will be craving pickles and ice cream- but decorating the baby room will take your mind off of that! OH, I was at DI today and saw some of the coolest green glassware...I was going to buy it for you, but I wasn't what out of the set you wanted- sorry!
I get the same way when I'm hungry. And I totally get emotional as well, my poor husband! That is so awesome that you don't like junk food! Don't worry, I didn't really get any pregnancy food cravings either...I just always wanted to eat!
OK. First of all, I'm a blog stalker too. :) Second, CONGRATULATIONS on your baby! That's so fun! Third, I cried when I heard Taylor Swift's Love Story and I wasn't even pregnant. I'm just lucky enough to be that emotional ALL the time! (Lucky Ryan too...) Sorry I wasn't here last night... I don't work often but when I do, I'm closing. :) Thank you for the flowers! It was a nice "pick me up" after a night at work. :)
MORE UPDATES PLEASE!!! Since I can't be close by you this summer, your going to have to keep me posted ;) I'm so excited for you...your almost 17 weeks now I think! I want to see that BELLY!!! You get to find out soon...you should do a girl\boy poll...I'm not sure yet, but I'm leaning towards boy. CONGRATULATIONS supermodel!
YAY Soph!!! I can't believe it's almost been a year and I still haven't seen you! I live in Bluffdale. Email me at SherylBabs@yahoo.com so we can arrange a lunch date or we can have you and your hubby over for dinner? I'm so happy and excited for you!
P.S. When I was pregnant I was pissed all the time (normally I'm always too relaxed.)
