End of summer...

I love this girl and how she's always willing to take a silly picture.
I finished teaching my stretching and improv classes for the summer.

These kids discovered how funny it is to put crayons up your nose.

One of my dance students gave me a selfie stick, so Eden and I tested it out.

Took the hooligans to the pool and discovered that my three year old can swim! I practiced with him like his swim instructor did, having him jump to me then guiding him back but letting him swim about one foot to the edge on his own. He did it easily. So easily that I kept moving back, until the little guy was swimming about 6 feet. He put his head under water, blew bubbles, kicked his legs and circled his arms. Eden and I watched and just cheered for him. It was total bliss. It is the coolest feeling to watch my kids learn something new. Eden is becoming a stronger little swimmer and Ben is close behind.
This is the kids watching their favorite show for the moment. It's called shimmer and shine and it only plays on our tablet. I felt like this was a rare moment to see them so close together and not wrestling.

Eden leaves me surprises to find when I come upstairs to bed. Sometimes it's a dime under my pillow... Other times it's more creative creations, like this.

It's unsettling and exciting as a new chapter in motherhood is beginning. Eden starts all day kindergarten and Benson will be in preschool twice a week. It's going to be different and scary and really nice all at once.
